Amending Section 19-203 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Payroll Deductions," to add the United Service Organizations to the list of designated payees to whom an employee may direct payroll deductions; all under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Title 19 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

TITLE 19. FINANCE, TAXES AND COLLECTIONS.

CHAPTER 19-200. CITY FUNDS--DEPOSITS, INVESTMENTS, DISBURSEMENTS.

§19-203. Payroll Deductions.

(1) The Director of Finance shall, as authorized or directed from time to time by the Code, deduct and withhold from the salary or wages of any employee of the City, such sum as the employee may authorize, or as may be directed by the Code and shall pay over such deductions to the designated payee.
