Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to accept from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia ("CHOP") or its successors or assigns, fee simple title or a lesser property interest in any portion of the real estate owned by CHOP and located south of the South Street Bridge, east of the Schuylkill River, west of railroad tracks owned and operated by CSX Transportation, Inc., and north of a railroad bridge owned and operated by CSX Transportation, Inc., under certain terms and conditions.

Full Bill

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property is authorized to accept from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (“CHOP”) or their successors or assigns, a conveyance of fee simple title, or a lesser property interest, in any portion of the real estate owned by CHOP and located south of the South Street Bridge, east of the Schuylkill River, west of railroad tracks owned and operated by CSX Transportation Inc., and north of a railroad bridge owned and operated by CSX Transportation, Inc.

SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve any documents necessary to effectuate the purpose of this Ordinance, which documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City of Philadelphia and to carry out the purpose of this Ordinance.
