Full Bill

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Any exemptions, deductions, abatements or credits accruing on or after the effective date of this Ordinance, and provided for by Chapter 19-3200 of The Philadelphia Code, relating to the Keystone Opportunity Zone and the Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone, with respect to the properties located on the ground bounded by West Thompson Street to the North, North 31st Street to the East, West Girard Avenue to the South, and certain railroad tracks and North 32nd Street to the West (such properties being formerly known as: 1206-36 North 31st Street, 1238 North 31st Street, 1240-42 North 31st Street, 1244-68 North 31st Street, 3126-30 West Thompson Street and 3132-50 West Thompson Street, which, by virtue of that certain Deed of Confirmation dated April 5, 2012 and recorded as Philadelphia Department of Records Document No.: 52467814, the foregoing addresses have been consolidated into the following addresses: 3100 West Thompson Street (Proposed OPA Tax Parcel No. 88-4-6989-01) and 3101 West Girard Avenue (Proposed OPA Tax Parcel No.: 88-4-1012-06)), are hereby repealed, revoked and removed; and the Properties are hereby removed from the Philadelphia Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon the effective date of an approval by the Commonwealth Department of Community and Economic Development of a request by the Director of Commerce to decertify the Properties and remove them from the Philadelphia Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone, which request shall not be submitted with respect to the Properties prior to the submission by the owners and all parties with any known interest in the Properties of written application to the Department of Commerce requesting and consenting to the removal of all exemptions, deductions, abatements, or credits provided for by Chapter 19-3200 of The Philadelphia Code, relating to the Keystone Opportunity Zone and the Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone with respect to the Properties.
