Amending Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "The Philadelphia Building Construction and Occupancy Code," by amending Subcode "A" (The Philadelphia Administrative Code), by authorizing the code official to gain access to enclosed and secured vacant lots for the purpose of abating violations, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

A-503.2.2 Vacant lots: Where a vacant lot is enclosed by fencing and secured by a lock that prevents the code official from entering upon the lot for the purpose of correcting a violation, the code official may gain access to the lot by all legal means, including obtaining an administrative warrant.
