Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Designation of Bicycle Lanes," to authorize bicycle lanes in the First Councilmanic District on North 10th Street, from Buttonwood Street to Callowhill Street, and on Columbus Boulevard from Dilworth Street to Swanson Street; and making associated changes to parking regulations within the same limits; all under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows:

§ 12-701. Designation of Bicycle Lanes.

(l) North 10th Street, east side, from Spring Garden Street to [Buttonwood]

Callowhill

Street.

(m) Columbus Boulevard, from Dilworth Street to Swanson Street, and the removal of a parking lane on the same portion of Columbus Boulevard.

SECTION 2. All existing parking regulations on the following streets are hereby terminated:

North 10th Street, east side, from Buttonwood Street to Callowhill Street.

Columbus Boulevard, east side, from Dilworth Street to Swanson Street.

SECTION 3. The following parking regulations are hereby established:

No Stopping Any Time

North 10th Street, east side, from Buttonwood Street to Callowhill Street.

No Stopping Any Time

Columbus Boulevard, east side, from Dilworth Street to Swanson Street.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect as follows:

(a) Section 1: Immediately.

(b) Sections 2 and 3: Upon certification by the Street Commissioner that the respective bicycle lanes authorized in Section 1 have been completed.
