Amending Section 9-212 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Newsstands," by adding provisions related to removal and relocation, all under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 9-212 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows:

(a) Except where the Department or the Department of Streets determines that immediate removal is necessary to remediate a clear and present danger to the public health or safety, prior to removal of any newsstand pursuant to subsection 9-212(7), the Department shall first give ten (10) days notice by first class mail to the licensee at the address on file with the Department. Such notice shall direct the licensee to remove the newsstand or otherwise remediate the violation, and shall include:

Where the Department or any other government entity determines that the removal and relocation of a newsstand from an approved location, it shall be the sole responsibility of the party requiring the removal and relocation of the newsstand to pay the full amount of the relocation.
