THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS

:

SECTION 1. Chapter 12-900 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

CHAPTER 12-900. PARKING REGULATIONS AND PENALTIES.

§ 12-919. On-Street Parking of Boats, Motor Homes, Truck Campers, Semitrailers, Truck Tractors, and Vending Carts.

(1) Definitions. In this Section, the following definitions shall apply:

(d) Semitrailer. As defined in the Vehicle Code at 75 Pa. C.S. § 102.

(e) Truck Tractor. As defined in the Vehicle Code at 75 Pa. C.S. § 102.

(2) Prohibited Conduct.

(c) No person shall park a semitrailer or truck tractor on any public street in the 10th Council District that has been determined by regulation of the Department of Streets to be a location with respect to which the safe and efficient use of the right-of-way by pedestrians or traffic would be impaired by such parking.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately.
