Full Bill

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized to acquire from the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest, by purchase, condemnation, deed in lieu, donation, dedication, or otherwise to all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land more commonly known as 851 North 13th Street, 2401 North 32nd Street, 1220-30 Kenilworth Street, 3223-33 Race Street, 213-17 North 33rd Street, 46-48 Wiota Street, 4016-24 Powelton Avenue and 1532-36 South Stillman Street.

SECTION 2. The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute all other documents necessary or appropriate for the purpose of accepting fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest to all or a portion of the above described parcel or parcels.

SECTION 3. The City Solicitor is authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate the acquisition authorized by this Ordinance. Those instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.
