This enacted ordinance authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to purchase, for $335,000, about 9.97 acres of land and its buildings near Algon Avenue and Fox Chase Road from Jane W. Hoff, Henry R. Waddington, and Robert Waddington. After acquisition, the parcel would be incorporated into Pennypack Park under the jurisdiction of the Fairmount Park Commission.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to purchase fee simple title to a certain parcel of land with the buildings and improvements thereon, situated on the Northwest side of Algon Avenue at Fox Chase Road, all under certain terms and conditions.
