This enacted ordinance sets hours for parks and playgrounds owned or controlled by the City. Most may be used from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; tot playgrounds have seasonal hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from October 1 through March 31 and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. from April 1 through September 31, unless the Recreation Department extends hours for a City-sponsored or approved event. The rules do not apply to parks and playgrounds under the Fairmount Park Commission.

Amending Title 15 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parks and Recreation," by adding a new Chapter relating to parks and playgrounds and by providing for the hours of operation of certain parks and playgrounds, all under certain terms and conditions.
