This enacted ordinance authorizes the City’s Commissioner of Public Property to lease about 21 acres near Byberry and Academy Roads from the School District of Philadelphia for 10 years. It also authorizes the City to sublease the property to the Academy Sports Association for ball fields and athletic and recreational activities for community members.
