This enacted amendment gives the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Community Development two years, instead of one, to enter into an agreement and meet the agreement’s requirements for constructing, owning, and maintaining raised planters on the sidewalks along the 2400, 2500, and 2600 blocks of Kensington Avenue. It affects the Archdiocese and the use of those sidewalks for the planter clusters.

Amending Bill No. 070443 (approved by Council on June 14, 2007 and signed by the Mayor on July 3, 2007), entitled "An Ordinance authorizing the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Office for Community Development, 222 N. 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19103, to construct, own and maintain raised planter clusters atop the sidewalks of the 2400, 2500 and 2600 blocks of Kensington Avenue, under certain terms and conditions," by authorizing an extension in the time in which the Archdiocese must perform its obligations under the Ordinance, all under certain terms and conditions.
