This enacted bill authorized the Managing Director to contract with the Support Center for Child Advocates to provide legal and related services to children in dependency and other proceedings through June 30, 2017. The services included representing children when the Defender Association of Philadelphia or another provider could not do so because of a conflict of interest, subject to professional responsibility rules.
Authorizing the Managing Director to contract with the Support Center for Child Advocates for the provision of professional services to the City for representing children in certain legal matters, under certain terms and conditions.
