This enacted bill restores the Home Rule Charter exemption from City Council review for certain contracts between the City and the Support Center for Child Advocates. The exemption applies to contracts involving legal and related services for indigent individuals in matters requiring conflicts counsel, when those contracts would otherwise require Council review.
Amending Section 17-2102 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Council Review of Contracts with Certain Entities," to restore the exemption from Council review provided in the Home Rule Charter for certain contracts between the City and the Support Center for Child Advocates, under certain terms and conditions.
