This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s hate-crimes law to include certain offenses committed against an individual’s or group’s property or business, in addition to offenses against people. It applies when the offense is accompanied by malicious intent as defined in the law and took effect immediately.

Amending Chapter 10-2200 of the Philadelphia Code entitled "Hate Crimes," to expand the scope of qualifying crimes, under certain terms and conditions.
