Calling on the Cintas Corporation, the largest uniform rental provider and industrial launderer in North America, to cease its pattern of unfair labor practices in opposition to efforts by their employees to unionize, and further, urging, Starbucks Coffee Company, a company with a stated mission and a record of high standards of corporate conduct, who has recently agreed to purchase services from Cintas, to use its managerial discretion to cease doing business with Cintas until Cintas abides by these same standards in the treatment of their employees.

This adopted resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to transfer conditional ownership of certain City-owned lots and buildings in Philadelphia’s Fourth and Thirty-fourth Wards to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority without payment.
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia, without consideration, deeds conveying conditional fee simple title to certain City-owned lots or pieces of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate in the Fourth & Thirty-fourth Wards of the City of Philadelphia, pursuant to Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia to dispose of such properties for rehabilitation and/or improvement in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code.
