This enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s rules for farmers’ markets.
Amending Section 9-213 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Farmers' Markets," to remove the requirement that operators of farmers' markets obtain a license from the Department of Licenses and Inspections, to provide for registration by market operators with the Department of Public Health, and to adjust various requirements for the operation of farmers' markets, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted ordinance authorizes the City to remove and vacate a portion of Croskey Street, from its terminus north of Cherry Street to about five feet south of that point, from the official City Plan.
Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 307 by striking from the City Plan and vacating Croskey Street from its terminus north of Cherry Street to a point approximately five feet southwardly therefrom, under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted bill authorizes the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (PAID) to purchase about 2.7 acres at 5210 Lindbergh Boulevard for up to $350,000, plus settlement and other incidental costs.
