Calling on the State Legislature of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to condemn Section 4.24 of the Pennsylvania Code enacted January 1999, that mandates the placement of the Pennsylvania Seal on select high school diplomas based on PSSA scores taken this year by 11th graders across the State.

Amending the Ordinance approved January 3, 1992 (Bill No. 1205-AA), which, pursuant to subsection 9-204(8)(a) of The Philadelphia Code, designates the locations in Center City at which vending is permitted, by deleting all permitted vendor locations on the East side of Seventeenth street between Arch street and John F. Kennedy boulevard, on the North side of John F. Kennedy boulevard between Seventeenth street and Eighteenth street, and the West side of Eighteenth street between Arch street and John F. Kennedy boulevard, all under certain terms and conditions.
