This enacted bill amends Philadelphia’s payroll deduction rules to allow City employees to authorize deductions from their paychecks to purchase long-term care and other voluntary insurance benefits through Financial Integrity Resources Management, LLC.
Amending Section 19-203 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Payroll Deductions," by permitting employees to authorize payroll deductions to purchase long term care and other voluntary insurance benefits through Financial Integrity Resources Management, LLC, under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted ordinance replaces Philadelphia’s “dance hall” license with a “special assembly occupancy” license for nightclubs, bars, restaurants, private clubs, banquet halls, and similar places where 50 or more people gather primarily for social entertainment.
Amending Section 9-703 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Dance Halls," by redefining the types of establishments and activities that require a license under that Section, and changing the name of the license to a "special assembly occupancy" license, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted bill changes how much must be paid in response to code violation notices under Philadelphia’s Building Construction and Occupancy Code: instead of fixed amounts in these sections, the payment follows the amount set in Section 1-112 unless another amount is specified.
Amending Title 4, Subcode "A," Section A-506, entitled "Code Violation Notices (CVN)," by providing for a new amount to be remitted in response to a code violation notice with respect to violations of The Philadelphia Building Construction and Occupancy Code; and amending Title 4, Subcode "PM," Section PM-312, entitled "Overhanging or Encroaching Trees," to make conforming changes; all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted ordinance repeals the separate swimming-pool rules in the Philadelphia Code and adds pool safety and maintenance requirements to the Property Maintenance Code.

The enacted ordinance requires the Philadelphia Police Department to trace firearms recovered from people who are not legally allowed to possess them, including people under 21, using available information and the federal National Tracing Center.
